Unauthorized Practice: Crossing Borders and Operating Law-Related Businesses

This seminar will explore the intricacies of cross-border practice and operating law-related businesses. With the changes to the Rules of Professional Conduct, the increase in claims and clients across state boundaries, and the proliferation of businesses owned or managed by lawyers in additional to their law practices, this program with attempt to familiarize lawyers with the applicable rules and the risks associated with such endeavors.
