Learn the do's and don'ts of handling a case in the Illinois Appellate Court. Experienced appellate attorneys will offer lessons learned (some the hard way) along with a basic overview of how to make your record, get past the procedural hurdles, and argue your best case on appeal. An appellate court justice will offer perspective from the bench on tips for young lawyers in the First District.
