Access Success: Creating Opportunities for Attorneys with Disabilities - March 6
Posted on February 13, 2018

The Young Lawyers Section is pleased to host an "Access Success" event on March 6, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at the Microsoft AON Center, 200 E. Randolph, Chicago, IL. Access Success is a live event showcasing attorneys and law students with disabilities and introducing them to law firm and law departments interested in expanding their own networks of able counsel.

You’ll hear first-person accounts of attorneys practicing with disabilities as well as an overview of the ADA “reasonable accommodations” from both the plaintiff and defense perspectives. Access Success will also help organizations comply with Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 which requires federal contractor employers to take affirmative action to recruit, hire, promote, and retain individuals with disabilities by offering a chance for them to meet with attorneys and law students with disabilities,

At the networking reception, learn more about the Web event and how law firms and law departments can connect with at least ten attorneys or law students with disabilities during the ensuing two-week Access Success online networking fair.
